      "@value" : "Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι να μελετηθεί εάν η Ολυμπιακή Παιδεία στηρίζεται στις ιστορικές και παιδαγωγικές βάσεις του Ολυμπισμού, αλλά και σε σύγχρονα εκπαιδευτικά συστήματα και αντιλήψεις. Ως όρος εμφανίστηκε στις αρχές της δεκαετίας του ’70. Ο σκοπός και οι στόχοι της πηγάζουν από τις αρχές του Ολυμπισμού και εκφράζεται μέσα από το τρίπτυχο παιδεία–αθλητισμός– πολιτισμός. Από τις αρχές της δεκαετίας του ’90, αρκετοί επιστήμονες και ερευνητές άρχισαν να παρουσιάζουν τις βασικές αρχές της Ολυμπιακής Παιδείας, στις οποίες υπάρχει μια γενικότερη ταύτιση στις ιδέες των περισσότερων εκφραστών της. Σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας, η παιδαγωγική αξία της Ολυμπιακής Παιδείας έχει τα εξής χαρακτηριστικά: α) ο σκοπός και οι στόχοι της στηρίζονται στον Ολυμπιακό Χάρτη, στις ιστορικές βάσεις του Ολυμπισμού, λαμβάνοντας υπόψη το σύγχρονο τρόπο ζωής και τις κοινωνικές εξελίξεις, β) το περιεχόμενο προάγει τη διαθεματικότητα/διεπιστημονικότητα και γ) η διδακτική της προσέγγιση στηρίζεται σε ομαδο-συνεργατικά μοντέλα διδασκαλίας που ως χαρακτηριστικό έχουν τη βιωματική μάθηση."
