Cost and Benefit analysis of Renewable Energy in Cyprus

This dissertation was written as a part of the MSc in Energy Systems at the International Hellenic University. In the past few years Renewable Energy Sources are in the top list of policymakers around Europe. Cyprus as part of the European Union follows the guidelines set for all Member States and tries to increase the renewable energy production. The scope of this Master Thesis is to present the Costs and Benefits of each Renewable technology in Cyprus and discuss whether they are beneficial for the society as a whole.
