This dissertation was written as a part of the MSc in Energy Systems at the International Hellenic University. Here goes a summary of the dissertation. The first part of the dissertation presents the literature review and the theoretical background of the study. It includes the main aspects of indoor environment conditions such as: indoor air quality, thermal comfort, acoustic comfort, visual conditions, ventilation and Sick building syndrome.
