Παρουσιάζεται το θεσμικό και νομοθετικό πλαίσιο που αφορά τη Διαχείριση του Θαλάσσιου Περιβάλλοντος, με έμφαση στην Ευρωπαϊκή και Ελληνική Νομοθεσία, καθώς και σε αυτή που εφαρμόζεται στη Μεσόγειο και αφορά όλες τις πτυχές των ανθρώπινων δραστηριοτήτων που συνδέονται με τη θάλασσα.

The institutional and legal framework that supports the management of the marine environment is presented in this chapter, with specific focus on European and Greek legislation, as well as that implemented in the Mediterranean region concerning all aspects of human activity that takes place in the marine environment.
