Το Κεφάλαιο 10 έχει ως τίτλο «Εξουσία και έλεγχος στα κτίρια: Η περίπτωση των ολοκληρωτικών ιδρυμάτων» και μέσα από την ανάπτυξη θεωρητικού υποβάθρου αναφοράς προσεγγίζονται ζητήματα κτιριακής έκφρασης του ελέγχου και των κοινωνικών σχέσεων με την παραδοχή ότι τα κτίρια λειτουργούν είτε ως ένα ενοποιητικό πεδίο είτε ως ένα διαχωριστικό πεδίο για τους χρήστες τους.

Chapter 10 refers to "Power and control in buildings: The case of total institutions", where through the development of theoretical background references, the expression of control and social relations in the built environment are approached through the assumption that buildings are functioning either as unifying fields or as dividing fields for their users.
