Το τέταρτο παρουσιάζει τις βασικές έννοιες σχετικά με τη φυσιολογία, τις διαταραχές και τη φυσιολογική και κλινική σημασία της οξεοβασικής και ηλεκτρολυτικής ισορροπίας του σώματος. Παρουσιάζονται λεπτομερέστερα τα όργανα για τον προσδιορισμό των σχετικών εργαστηριακών παραμέτρων και αναφέρονται επίσης η δειγματοληψία και ο χειρισμός των κλινικών δειγμάτων. Τέλος, στο πειραματικό μέρος του κεφαλαίου συνοψίζονται τα βασικά βήματα του προσδιορισμού των ηλεκτρολυτών με αυτοματοποιημένο αναλυτή καθώς και με κλασική τεχνική ποσοτικής χημικής ανάλυσης. (EL)
Fourth presents the basic concepts concerning the physiology, disorders and the physiological and clinical significance of the acid-base and electrolyte balance of the body. The instrumentation for determining the relevant laboratory parameters is presented in more detail, and the sampling and handling of clinical samples are also mentioned. Finally, the experimental part of the chapter summarizes the basic steps of electrolyte determination with an automated analyzer as well as with a classical quantitative chemical analysis technique.
