Στο συγκεκριμένο κεφάλαιο αναφέρεται η Δήλωση αρχών για την Διεθνή καταλογογράφηση. Στη συνέχεια, μελετώνται τα πρότυπα FRBR, FRAD και FRSAD, τα οποία αποτελούν τη βάση για τους κανόνες RDA, ενώ, κατόπιν, παρουσιάζεται το νέο ενοποιημένο πρότυπο IFLA LRM.

This chapter refers to the Statement of Principles for International Cataloguing. The FRBR, FRAD and FRSAD standards, which form the basis for the RDA rules, are then studied. After that, the new consolidated IFLA LRM standard is presented.
