Κοσμίδου, ΜαριγούλαΣτο παρόν άρθρο επιχειρείται βιβλιογραφικά μια αποσαφήνιση των όρων της δια βίου μάθησης, της συνεχιζόμενης εκπαίδευσης και της εκπαίδευσης των ενηλίκων καθώς επίσης των μορφών εκπαίδευσης ήτοι, της τυπικής, της περιοδικής και της άτυπης. Συνοπτικά παρατίθενται οι φορείς της δια βίου μάθησης στην Ελλάδα καθώς και ο ορισμός αυτής από το ελληνικό και ευρωπαϊκό θεσμικό πλαίσιο. Η έννοια της ενηλικιότητας αναπτύσσεται ενώ οι θεμελιωτές της εκπαίδευσης ενηλίκων και οι θεωρίες μάθησης διαχρονικά μέσα από μια βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση αποτυπώνονται. Τα εμπόδια που εμφανίζονται στην εκπαίδευση των ενηλίκων εξ αιτίας της ενηλικιότητας καθώς και οι στρατηγικές που οι ενήλικες χρησιμοποιούν αναφέρονται στην προσπάθειας της ανάπτυξης των δια βίου μάθησης.In this article, a bibliographic clarification of the terms of lifelong learning or lifelong education, continuing education and adult education is attempted, as well as the forms of education, i.e. formal, periodical and informal. Briefly listed are the organizations and educational institutions of lifelong learning and continuing education in Greece as well as its definition from the Greek and European institutional framework. The concept of adulthood is developed while the founders of adult education and learning theories across time through a literature review are captured.
