The author develops part of the rich nomenclature of a manuscript from Meteora. It is codex 8 of the monastery Saint Stephan, in the pages 59-65a of which, there are registered the names of the grocers and tailors of Thessaloniki of the years 1714-1725.In this study, appear 345 names of men, 75 corresponding baptismal names.
