Physical interpretation of signal reconstruction from reduced rank matrices (EN)

Dologlou, I (EN)
Carayannis, G (EN)

An enhanced version of a signal is obtained after subtraction of a linear combination of rank one matrices from the signal observation matrix. This operation results in a non-Hankel observation matrix. By averaging the elements of this matrix, a new Hankel matrix is produced and a reconstructed signal is generated. This averaging operation is examined here and physical interpretations are given. (EN)
