      "@value" : "Τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες με την ραγδαία ανάπτυξη του αστικού ιστού, η τάση για εκμετάλλευση του υπογείου χώρου είναι πιο έντονη από ποτέ. Για αυτό επιδιώκεται η η βιομηχανοποίηση του τρόπου κατασκευής σηράγγων , έτσι ώστε αυτή να καταστεί δυνατή υπό οποιεσδήποτε συνθήκες ακόμα και σε αστικό περιβάλλον.\nΠλέον στις μέρες μας η κατασκευή σηράγγων έχει καταστεί δυνατή σε συνθήκες που θεωρούνταν απαγορευτικές στο παρελθόν. Προς αυτή την κατεύθυνση συνετέλεσαι η βαθειά κατανόηση των μηχανισμών αστοχίας των σηράγγων και της σημσίας του μετώπου και του πυρήνα προώθησης στην ευστάθεια της.\nΑυτό είναι και το αντικείμενο της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας στην οποία αρχικά παρουσιάζονται κάποια θεωρητικά στοιχέια και συμπεράσματα από παλαιότερες έρευνες πάνω στην ευστάθεια των σηράγγων, ενώ στη συνέχεια παρουσιάζονται και αναλύονται τα αποτελέσματα που προέκυψαν από μια σειρά αναλύσεων που πραγματοποιήθηκαν με τη βοήθεια του τρισδιάστατου κώδικα πεπερασμένων στοιχείων, ABAQUS. Σκοπός των αναλύσεων είναι να μελετηθεί η επίδραση των δοκών προπορείας στην ευστάθεια του μετώπου, στην μείωση των καθιζήσεων και των μετακινήσεων, αλλά και της αλληλεπίδρασης τους με τα αγκύρια μετώπου. Από την ανάλυση των αποτελεσμάτων προκύπτει ότι μπορεί να βρεθεί ένας βέλτιστος συνδυασμός δοκών προπορείας και αγκυρίων, ώστε το μέτωπο να καταστεί αρκετά ευσταθές και να περιοριστούν γενικώς οι παραμορφώσεις ."

      "@value" : "In recent decades the rapid growth of the urban network, the tendency for exploiting the underground space is more intense than ever. For this aim, the industrialization of the tunneling mode is sought, so that it becomes possible under any circumstances even in an urban environment.\nNowadays tunneling has been possible in conditions that were considered prohibitive in the past. To this effect occurs the deep understanding of failure mechanisms in tunnels and the importance of the tunnel face and the advance core on stability of tunnels. \nThis is the subject of this thesis which originally presents some theoretical evidence and conclusions from previous studies on the stability of tunnels, and then presents and analyzes the results from a series of analysis acquired by  finite-3dimensional element code, ABAQUS. The purpose of the analysis is to study the effect of forepoles on the stability of tunnel face and the advance core and of their interaction with the fiberglass face anchors. At last the analysis and evaluation of the results illustrate that, an optimum combination of forepoles and face nails can be found, so that the face will remain stable and the deformation will be minimized."
