Η παρούσα έρευνα επιχειρεί να καταγράψει την εκπαίδευση των νηπιαγωγών για την διδασκαλία μουσικών δραστηριοτήτων στα νηπιαγωγεία από το 1870 ως το 2008. Ερευνώνται τα προγράμματα των σχολών εκπαίδευσης των νηπιαγωγών αυτής της περιόδου, η κατεύθυνση και το περιεχόμενο της μουσικής τους εκπαίδευσης, οι επιρροές που ασκήθηκαν, η πορεία που ακολούθησε, τα στάδια από τα οποία πέρασε στην ιστορική της διαδρομή. Η μελέτη των προγραμμάτων σπουδών, των εγκυκλίων και άλλων πηγών δείχνει ότι η μουσική εκπαίδευση των υποψήφιων νηπιαγωγών ήταν ελλιπής και, κυρίως, στρεβλή μέχρι την ίδρυση των Παιδαγωγικών Τμημάτων, οπότε άλλαξε ριζικά προσανατολισμό, στόχους και περιεχόμενο. The present research attempts to record the education of kindergarten teachers for teaching music in the kindergarten from 1870 to 2008. The programs of the faculties of education for preschool teachers during the specific historic period are investigated. At the same time, the direction and content of preschool teachers’ music education, the influences and the stages from which it has passed in history are also being studied. The study of the curricula, the circulars and other sources shows that the music education for prospective preschool teachers’ was insufficient and, mainly, erroneous up to the foundation of Pedagogic Departments, when its orientation, objectives and content has radically changed.
