Παρουσιάζεται η εξέλιξη της λαϊκής ποίησης από το δημοτικό τραγούδι στη σύγχρονη έντυπη και ηλεκτρονική λαϊκή ποίηση, υπογραμμίζεται η επίδραση του δημοτικού τραγουδιού στα στιχουργήματα του λαϊκού ποιητή Γεωργίου Βαρδή μέσα από τον εντοπισμό των τεχνοτροπικών στοιχείων αλλά και των κοινωνικών συμφραζομένων στο έργο του, ενώ παράλληλα επισημαίνονται τεχνοτροπικά στοιχεία, επιδράσεις και θέματα της σύγχρονης λαϊκής ποίησης, που λειτουργούν ανανεωτικά και εκφράζουν την σύγχρονη πραγματικότητα.Aim of this thesis is contributing to the study of modern folk poetry through the poems of a folk poet from Xiromero. The evolution of folk poetry from the folk song to modern printed and electronic folk poetry is presented and the influence of the folk song on the poems of the popular poet Georgios Vardis is emphasized through the identification of the stylistic elements and the social contexts in his work.
