Καλλά ΦωτεινήKalla FotiniΜια φυσική καταστροφή, οδηγεί σε οικονομικές και κοινωνικές απώλειες, των οποίων η σοβαρότητα και το μέγεθος εξαρτάται από την τρωτότητα, την προσαρμοστικότητα και την ικανότητα ανάκαμψης εκείνων που υφίστανται την καταστροφή. Στόχος είναι να μετριαστούν οι καταστροφικές επιπτώσεις των φυσικών φαινομένων, μέσω της ανάληψης μέτρων, κυρίως προληπτικού χαρακτήρα. Βάσει του ισχύοντος θεσμικού πλαισίου για την Πολιτική Προστασία, η Τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση καλείται να διαδραματίσει έναν πιο διευρυμένο και ουσιαστικό ρόλο. Ο παραπάνω στόχος είναι ένα στοίχημα για τους Δήμους του Υμηττού. Στην προτεινόμενη εργασία, θα καταγραφεί το παράδειγμα του Δήμου Ηλιούπολης και θα προταθούν επιπλέον δράσεις, προς αυτή την κατεύθυνση. Οι δράσεις που θα προταθούν έχουν αφετηρία την αλλαγή της κουλτούρας (και άρα αντίληψης κινδύνου), σε ζητήματα σωστής διαχείρισης των φυσικών κινδύνων και καταστροφών. Ο συγκεκριμένος Δήμος φαίνεται να είναι ενεργός σε θέματα πυροπροστασίας, συμβάλλοντας έτσι στην ανατροπή μιας λανθασμένης κουλτούρας, σχετικά με τη διαχείριση της πυρκαγιάς. Ο τελικός στόχος των προτάσεων διαχείρισης στην προτεινόμενη εργασία θα είναι η μείωση των πυρκαγιών στο βουνό του Υμηττού και ο μετριασμός των καταστροφικών επιπτώσεων.A natural disaster leads to economic and social losses, the severity and magnitude of which depend on the vulnerability, adaptability and resilience of those affected by the disaster. The aim is to mitigate the catastrophic effects of natural phenomena, through measures, mainly of a preventive nature. Under the current institutional framework for Civil Protection, Local Government is called upon to play a broader and more substantial role.The above goal is a bet for the Municipalities of Ymittos. In the proposed work, the example of the Municipality of Ilioupoli will be recorded and additional actions will be proposed in this direction. The actions that will be proposed are based on the change of culture (and therefore risk perception), on issues of proper management of natural hazards and disasters.
