      "@value" : "The current thesis explores the perceptions that working women in Greek organizations have regarding the causes of the glass ceiling phenomenon and gender roles. Focusing on both private and public sector organizations with at least 50 employees, the study aims to deepen the understanding of the entrenched beliefs that dominate among women. This understanding is crucial for adult educators tasked with program development in these environments, as it influences the design of educational programs and enhances the effectiveness of the applied interventions. \nThe research aims to investigate the perceptions of female employees in modern Greek organizations regarding the phenomenon of the glass ceiling, through the means of administering a relevant questionnaire and with the aim of determining the factors that lead to the phenomenon. The study involved 61 employees in both private and public organizations in Greece, aged 18-60. The main results showed that women still face the phenomenon of the glass ceiling in the workplace in Greece, they perceive the factors that lead to the phenomenon of the glass ceiling mainly as social / organizational and less as personal.\nThis work contributes to broader research on specific beliefs related to women's advancement into leadership roles.\nThe thesis underlines the challenges faced by women in professional advancement, especially regarding the glass ceiling phenomenon. It proposes adult education to address these challenges, promoting awareness and change in gender role perceptions within organizations, thus enhancing a culture of continuous improvement."

      "@value" : "Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία διερευνά τις αντιλήψεις που έχουν οι εργαζόμενες γυναίκες σε ελληνικούς οργανισμούς σχετικά με τις αιτίες που προκαλούν το φαινόμενο της γυάλινης οροφής στους οργανισμούς και τους ρόλους των φύλων. Εστιάζοντας τόσο σε οργανισμούς του ιδιωτικού όσο και του δημόσιου τομέα με τουλάχιστον 50 υπαλλήλους προσωπικό, η μελέτη στοχεύει να εμβαθύνει την κατανόηση των ριζωμένων πεποιθήσεων που κυριαρχούν στις γυναίκες. Αυτή η κατανόηση είναι ζωτικής σημασίας για τους/τις εκπαιδευτές/τριες ενηλίκων που είναι επιφορτισμένοι/ες με την ανάπτυξη προγραμμάτων σε αυτά τα περιβάλλοντα, καθώς επηρεάζει τον σχεδιασμό των εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων και ενισχύει την αποτελεσματικότητα των εφαρμοσμένων παρεμβάσεων.\nΗ έρευνα στοχεύει στη διερεύνηση των αντιλήψεων των γυναικών εργαζομένων σε σύγχρονους ελληνικούς οργανισμούς αναφορικά με το φαινόμενο της γυάλινης οροφής, δια μέσου της χορήγησης σχετικού ερωτηματολογίου και με στόχο τον προσδιορισμό των παραγόντων που οδηγούν στο φαινόμενο. Στη μελέτη συμμετείχαν 61 εργαζόμενες τόσο σε ιδιωτικούς όσο και σε δημόσιους οργανισμούς στην Ελλάδα, ηλικίας 18-60 ετών. Τα βασικά αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι οι γυναίκες εξακολουθούν να αντιμετωπίζουν το φαινόμενο της γυάλινης οροφής στο χώρο εργασίας στην Ελλάδα, αντιλαμβάνονται τους παράγοντες που οδηγούν στο φαινόμενο της γυάλινης οροφής κυρίως ως κοινωνικούς / οργανωσιακούς και λιγότερο ως προσωπικούς \nΑυτή η εργασία συμβάλλει στην ευρύτερη έρευνα σχετικά με συγκεκριμένες πεποιθήσεις που σχετίζονται με την πρόοδο των γυναικών σε ηγετικούς ρόλους. \nH μελέτη υπογραμμίζει τις προκλήσεις που αντιμετωπίζουν οι γυναίκες στην επαγγελματική ανέλιξη, ιδιαίτερα όσον αφορά το φαινόμενο της γυάλινης οροφής. Προτείνει την εκπαίδευση ενηλίκων ως μέσο για την αντιμετώπιση αυτών των προκλήσεων, προωθώντας την ευαισθητοποίηση και την αλλαγή στις αντιλήψεις για το ρόλο του φύλου εντός των οργανισμών, ενισχύοντας έτσι μια κουλτούρα συνεχούς μάθησης."
