Βεργάρα-Κεσάδα Λουίζα-ΕιρήνηVergara-Kesada Louiza-EiriniΗ παρούσα εργασία διερευνά τις ρωγμές που δημιουργούν οι αστικές πολυειδιακές κοινότητες στην κανονικότητα της ασφάλειας, του ατομοκεντρισμού και του ανταγωνισμού. Το πεδίο της έρευνας αποτελεί μια γατοκοινότητα στο Άλσος Νέας Φιλαδέλφειας και συμπληρωματικά στις παρατηρήσεις αυτής προστίθενται παρατηρήσεις από πιο αποσπασματικές επαφές με άλλες γατοκοινότητες στην Αθήνα και τη σχέση μου με τα ημι-οικόσιτα γατιά με τα οποία συμβιώνω. Η παρούσα εργασία αντλεί αναλυτικά εργαλεία και δεδομένα από τη φαινομενολογία, την ανθρωπολογία των αισθήσεων, τη σημειολογία, τη φυσιολογία και ηθολογία της γάτας, τον οικοφεμινισμό, το μετανθρωπισμό, την μεταποικιοκρατική κριτική, την κουήρ θεωρία, την αστική πολιτική γεωγραφία και την πολιτική οικολογία. Ως κύρια μεθοδολογία εκπόνησης επιλέγεται η πολυειδιακή εθνογραφία και αυτοεθνογραφία. Το πρώτο μέρος της έρευνας μελετά τις σχέσεις εξουσίας ανθρώπων και ζώων στο χώρο και επιχειρεί μια φουκωική ανάλυση της πρόσφατης θερμοποίησης των σχέσεων ανθρώπων και ζώων στην επικράτεια του ελληνικού κράτους. Το δεύτερο μέρος αποτελεί η επιτόπια έρευνα της γατοκοινότητας του Άλσους της Νέας Φιλαδέλφειας. Μέσα από μια μετανθρωπιστική και διαθεματική φεμινιστική σκοπιά, στοχεύει στην ανάδειξη της κουλτούρας, και των πολιτικών και κοινωνικών σχέσεων της γατοκοινότητας, μελετώντας τα νοήματα που αποδίδουν οι γάτες και οι φροντίστριες σε αυτή. Το τελευταίο μέρος προσπαθεί να σκιαγραφήσει μια πρόταση μετανθρωπιστικής και διαθεματικής φεμινιστικής ηθικής και πολιτικής της αλληλεγγύης, που στηρίζεται στις σχέσεις φροντίδας και προσοχής και αναγνωρίζει τις διασταυρώσεις διαφορετικών καταπιέσεων που υφίστανται τα ανθρώπινα και μη ζώα.The present paper explores the ruptures created by urban multispecies communities in the norms of security, individualism and social antagonism. The main research field is a cat community in the Grove of Nea Philadelphia and supplementary to those observations, more fragmented contacts with other cat communities in Athens and my relationship with the semi-family cats I live with are added. The present work draws analytical tools and data from phenomenology, anthropology of the senses, semiology, physiology and ethology of the cat, ecofeminism, posthumanism, postcolonial criticism, queer theory, urban political geography and political ecology. Multispecies ethnography and auto-ethnography are chosen as the main methodology for the case study. The first part of the research studies the power relations of human and non human animals in space and attempts a foucauldian analysis of the recent institutionalization of human and animal relations in the domain of the greek state. The second part is the field study of the cat community in the Grove of New Philadelphia. Through a posthumanist and intersectional feminist perspective, it aims to the designation of culture, and political and social relations of the cat community, by studying the meanings that the cats and carers attribute to it.
