      "@value" : "Οι ραγδαίες εξελίξεις στην επιστήμη και την τεχνολογία δημιουργούν καινούργια δεδομένα στους συσχετισμούς ισχύος μεταξύ των εθνοκρατικών δρώντων και καθίστανται το κύριο μέσο για την κατοχύρωση της εθνικής ασφάλειας. Η σύγχρονη τεχνολογία – και ειδικά η αεροδιαστημική- αποτελεί καθοριστικό παράγοντα στο συσχετισμό δυνάμεων και η υιοθέτησή της από τα κράτη επηρεάζει συχνά τις περιφερειακές ισορροπίες. Η συνεισφορά της αεροδιαστημικής τεχνολογικής καινοτομίας στο σύγχρονο, σύνθετο και απρόβλεπτο εν πολλοίς διεθνές περιβάλλον είναι καθοριστική και δεν μπορεί να καλυφθεί από άλλο –ανθρωπογενές ή μη – μέσο, που έχει στόχο τη διατήρηση της ειρήνης, την προώθηση της εθνικής ασφάλειας, την επιτήρηση και την αποτροπή.\n Η κατοχή της αεροδιαστημικής τεχνολογίας και η εκμετάλλευση των εφαρμογών της αποτελεί την μόνη σίγουρη οδό για τη γνώση που προσφέρει το τρίπτυχο «πληροφορία, ανάλυση, λήψη ορθής απόφασης»  (2019). Είναι ευρύτατη πλέον μεταξύ των κρατών η συνειδητοποίηση ότι η κατοχή αυτής της γνώσης προς όφελος του εθνικού συμφέροντος είναι καίριας σημασίας για την απόκτηση ισχύος τόσο σε περίοδο ειρήνης όσο και σε περίοδο πολέμου. Η χρήση των τεχνολογικών δυνατοτήτων της αεροδιαστημικής για την απόκτηση της πληροφορίας, την ταχύτατη διανομή της και την ορθή ανάλυσή της αποτελεί την προϋπόθεση για τη λήψη της ενδεδειγμένης απόφασης από τους φορείς που διαμορφώνουν την εξωτερική πολιτική και άμυνα μιας χώρας και είναι υπεύθυνοι για την εθνική της ασφάλεια."
