Χρήστου ΚωνσταντίνοςChristou KonstantinosΣκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας η οποία είναι βασισμένη στο σύγγραμα Classical Hopf Algebras and their Applications των Pierre Cartier και Frédéric Patras είναι η διατύπωση και παρουσίαση των θεωρημάτων δομής Poincaré - Birkhoff - Witt και Cartier των Hopf αλγεβρών. Στην κατεύθυνση αυτή διατυπώνονται οι κατηγοριοθεωρητικοί ορισμοί και αποδεικνύονται ιδιότητες των αλγεβρών, των co-αλγεβρών, των Hopf αλγεβρών καθώς και δομών όπως η τανυστική άλγεβρα και η καθολική enveloping άλγεβρα μιας Lie άλγεβρας. Με την χρήση των διαστολών (dilations) και της φασματικής ανάλυσης που αυτές επάγουν σε μια bi-άλγεβρα αποδεικνύονται δύο σημαντικά θεωρήματα δομής της θεωρίας των Hopf αλγεβρών.The main purpose of this Diploma Thesis, which is based on the book Clas- sical Hopf Algebras and their Applications of Pierre Cartier and Frédéric Pa- tras, is to state and present the structure theorems of Hopf algebras named after Poincaré - Birkhoff - Witt and Pierre Cartier. To this direction, we give basic category-theoretic definitions and prove basic properties of alge- bras, coalgebras and Hopf algebras as well as the structures of tensor algebra and universal enveloping algebra of a Lie algebra.
