Β) Η ΑΝΤΙΣΤΡΟΦΩΣ ΑΝΑΛΟΓΗ ΣΧΕΣΗ ΠΟΥ ΠΑΡΑΤΗΡΗΘΗΚΕ ΜΕΤΑΞΥΤΟΥ ΑΡΙΘΜΟΥ ΤΩΝ ΚΥΤΤΑΡΩΝ LANGERHANS ΚΑΙ ΤΟΥ ΒΑΘΜΟΥ ΤΟΥ ΚΥΤΤΑΡΙΚΟΥ ΠΟΛΛΑΠΛΑΣΙΑΣΜΟΥ ΤΩΝ ΕΠΙΘΗΛΙΑΚΩΝ ΚΥΤΤΑΡΩΝ ΤΟΥ ΒΛΕΝΝΟΓΟΝΟΥ ΤΟΥ ΣΤΟΜΑΤΟΣ ΤΩΝ ΠΕΙΡΑΜΑΤΟΖΩΩΝ,ΔΕΝ ΣΗΜΑΙΝΕΙ ΑΠΑΡΑΙΤΗΤΑ ΟΤΙ ΤΑ ΚΥΤΤΑΡΑ LANGERHANS ΔΙΑΔΡΑΜΑΤΙΖΟΥΝ ΚΑΠΟΙΟ ΡΥΘΜΙΣΤΙΚΟ ΡΟΛΟ ΣΤΟ ΜΗΧΑΝΙΣΜΟ ΤΟΥ ΚΥΤΤΑΡΙΚΟΥ ΠΟΛΛΑΠΛΑΣΙΑΣΜΟΥ ΤΩΝ ΕΠΙΘΗΛΙΑΚΩΝ ΚΥΤΤΑΡΩΝ.", "LANGERHANS CELLS ARE EPIDERMAL CELLS AND WERE DESCRIBED BY P. LANGERHANS IN 1868. FOR SOME TIME AFTER THEIR DISCOVERY, THEIR ORIGIN, NATURE AND FUNCTIONS REMAINED UNKNOWN. THE AIM OF THIS STUDY WAS TO DETERMINE (1) THE QUANTITATIVE DISTRIBUTION OF LANGERHANS CELLS DURING THE HEALING PROCESS OF EXPERIMENTALLY INDUCED WOUNDS IN THE ORAL MUCOSA OF WISTAR RATS AND (2) THE QUANTITATIVE DISTRIBUTION OF LANGERHANS CELLS AS COMPARED TO THE MITOTIC ACTIVITY OF ORAL EPITHELIAL CELLS IN THE SAME ANIMALS. THE RESULTS OF THIS STUDY SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING THEORIES.
