SINCE THE FLOW ABOVE THE HORIZONTAL PLATE IS NEARLY HOMOGENEOUS THIS CONFIGURATION WAS ALSO USED AS A REFERENCE CASE. THE OBTAINED MEASUREMENTS CONSISTED OF MEAN AND STATISTICAL TURBULENT QUANTITIES. IN THE HORIZONTAL CASE THE TURBULENT FIELD WAS FOUND DOUBLE STRUCTURED ANDDEPARTING SIGNIFICANTLY FROM HOMOGENITY. THE DETECTED RISING COLUMNS OF HEATEDAIR WERE ORIGINATED FROM INSTABILITIES CREATED WITHIN THE \"CONVECTIVE\" LAYER. IN THE CASE OF THE INCLINED PLATE THE FLOW FIELD WAS FOUND TO BE COMPLICATED EXHIBITING THE COMBINED CHARACTERISTICS OF A THERMAL BOUNDARY LAYER AND A FREE CONVECTION FLOW ABOVE A HORIZONTAL PLATE.", "ΣΤΗ ΔΙΔΑΚΤΟΡΙΚΗ ΑΥΤΗ ΕΡΓΑΣΙΑ, ΕΞΕΤΑΖΕΤΑΙ Η ΔΟΜΗ ΤΟΥ ΤΥΡΒΩΔΟΥΣ ΘΕΡΜΟΚΡΑΣΙΑΚΟΥ ΠΕΔΙΟΥ ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΗΣ ΜΕΤΑΦΟΡΑΣ, ΠΟΥ ΔΗΜΙΟΥΡΓΕΙΤΑΙ ΠΑΝΩ ΑΠΟ ΘΕΡΜΑΙΝΟΜΕΝΗ ΠΛΑΚΑ ΜΕΤΑΒΛΗΤΗΣ ΚΛΙΣΗΣ. ΕΠΙΣΗΣ ΧΡΗΣΙΜΟΠΟΙΗΘΗΚΕ Η ΜΕΘΟΔΟΣ SCHLIEREN ΓΙΑ ΤΗΝ ΟΠΤΙΚΗ ΜΕΛΕΤΗ ΤΟΥ ΡΟΙΚΟΥ ΠΕΔΙΟΥ. ΣΤΗΝ ΟΡΙΖΟΝΤΙΑ ΘΕΣΗ, ΕΥΡΙΣΚΕΤΑΙ ΟΤΙ ΤΟ ΤΥΡΒΩΔΕΣ ΠΕΔΙΟ ΑΠΕΧΕΙ ΑΙΣΘΗΤΑ ΑΠΟ ΤΗΝ ΟΜΟΓΕΝΕΙΑ.
