Η μέθοδος περιελάμβανε: τη συγκέντρωση του προς μελέτη υλικού, το σχηματισμό του ειδικού δείγματος, την εφαρμογή του κατάλληλου ομοιοπαθητικού σχήματος, το πρωτόκολλο επανεξέτασης και καταγραφής του κλινικού δείκτη, την επιλογή των παραμέτρων προς στατιστική αξιολόγηση και τη στατιστική αξιολόγηση. Το υλικό που μελετήσαμε συγκεντρώθηκε από ασθενείς που προσήλθαν στις κλινικές της Ακίνητης Οδοντικής Προσθετικής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης και οι οποίοι είχαν εξεταστεί για προβλήματα κρανιογναθικών διαταραχών και είχαν αντιμετωπιστεί θεραπευτικά με συντηρητικά θεραπευτικά σχήματα κατά τη χρονική περίοδο 1997-2003. Η ομοιοπαθητική εφαρμόστηκε σα συμπληρωματική θεραπεία. Οι ομάδες που σχηματίστηκαν και συγκρίθηκαν ήταν δύο. Η ομάδα Α περιέλαβε ασθενείς με κυρίαρχα τα μυοπροσωπικά συμπτώματα. Η ομάδα Β περιέλαβε δυσλειτουργικούς ασθενείς με κυρίαρχα τα στοιχεία εσωτερικής αποδιοργάνωσης της ΚΓΔ και συνοδούς χρόνιους πονοκεφάλους. Τα αποτελέσματα δείχνουν ότι η εφαρμογή του ομοιοπαθητικού θεραπευτικού σχήματος επιφέρει στατιστικά σημαντική πτώση των συμπτωμάτων των κρανιογναθικών διαταραχών μετά τους 3 μήνες θεραπείας, σε σχέση με τον αρχικό κλινικό δείκτη και στις δύο ομάδες καθώς και στα δύο φύλα ασθενών.", "The purpose of the present clinical research was to investigate the contribution of homoeopathic therapy to the conservative treatment of craniomandibular disorders. This method included the collection of the study material, the formation of the specific sample, the selection of parameters for statistical consideration and the statistical analysis. The study material were patients of the clinics of Fixed Prosthodontics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Dentistry, who have been examined for problems of craniomandibular disorders and treated with conservative therapeutic schemes during the period 1997-2003. Homoeopathic therapy was applied as complementary therapy. The groups formed and compared were: The A group, included patients with myofascial symptoms and the B group included patients with serious symptoms of clicking and internal derangement with headaches.
