Tutored dramatic play and its effect on elementary school pupils' peer relations
To θεατρικό παιχνίδι και η επίδρασή του στις διαμαθητικές σχέσεις στο Δημοτικό Σχολείο

This thesis aimed at clarifying the concept of structured, tutored, stage-extended group operated dramatic play as a way of education through theatre and drama, as well as examining its effect on peer relations of 6th grade Elementary School pupils, from the perspective of acceptance and group cohesion.The data firstly were collected using both the semi-structured interview and the semi-structured observation. Then they were analyzed through the use of sociometry as the main quantitive approach and content analysis as a qualitive approach.The research findings, being generally in agreement with previous ones, were re-ferred to a moderate degree of impact of the dramatic play on the advancement of ac-ceptance among peers as well as on that of group cohesion whereas a small degree of remaining and development of rejection or neglection tendencies was reported.
