Ειδικότερα, η εμπειρική ανάλυση διερευνά το πως οι λογιστικές πληροφορίες καθώς και η ποιότητα των λογιστικών ανακοινώσεων και των κερδών της επιχείρησης επηρεάζει τις αποδόσεις των μετοχών μέσω της επίδρασής τους στο κόστος του κεφαλαίου.
