    "description" : "Εισαγωγή: Πολυάριθμες κλινικές δοκιμασίες χρησιμοποιούνται για τη διάκριση του «φυσιολογικού» από το «παθολογικό» στους ηλικιωμένους ανθρώπους που πάσχουν από νευροεκφυλιστικές παθήσεις, όπως είναι η παρεγκεφαλιδική αταξία. Λίγες είναι οι μελέτες όμως που έχουν προσεγγίσει τις δοκιμασίες αυτές σε υγιή πληθυσμό με σκοπό να αξιολογήσουν τις ιδιότητές τους. \nΣκοπός: Σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής είναι να συγκρίνει κατά πόσο οι δοκιμασίες Ολίσθησης της Πτέρνας στην Κνήμη, Lord και Κατάδειξης Μεγάλου Δακτύλου δίνουν παρόμοια αποτελέσματα όταν πραγματοποιούνται στα δύο κάτω άκρα υγιών περιπατητικών ηλικιωμένων ατόμων.\nΑποτελέσματα: Στη δοκιμασία Ολίσθησης της Πτέρνας στην Κνήμη τα δύο κάτω άκρα συγκλίνουν ως προς την απόδοσή τους όταν η δοκιμασία γίνεται με ανοικτά μάτια σε αντίθεση με όταν η δοκιμασία γίνεται με κλειστά μάτια. Στη δοκιμασία Lord φαίνεται ότι το οπτικό ερέθισμα δεν συμβάλλει σε τόσο μεγάλο βαθμό στην απόδοση. Τέλος, στη Δοκιμασία Κατάδειξης με το Μεγάλο Δάκτυλο η απόδοση των κάτω άκρων αποκλίνει στις πρώτες δοκιμασίες και συγκλίνει στην τελευταία, ανεξάρτητα από το εάν τα μάτια είναι ανοικτά ή κλειστά.\nΣυμπεράσματα: Φαίνεται ότι οι δοκιμασίες Ολίσθησης της Πτέρνας στην Κνήμη, Lord και Κατάδειξης Μεγάλου Δακτύλου οδηγούν σε παρόμοια αποτελέσματα και στο δεξί και στο αριστερό πόδι όταν πραγματοποιούνται με ανοικτά τα μάτια. Αντιθέτως, όταν πραγματοποιούνται με κλειστά τα μάτια τα αποτελέσματα του δεξιού ποδιού διαφέρουν από το αριστερό, καταδεικνύοντας τη συμβολή του οπτικού ερεθίσματος στη νευρομϋική συναρμογή ατόμων του συγκεκριμένου πληθυσμού.",
