Kalliopi Nika; Dr. George Dimas
The world today is changing faster than ever before. Technological developments, financial constraints, expanding markets, immediate restructuring needs and mergers, new philosophies and government legislation are all putting pressure on organizations to change and simultaneously stay dynamic. Yet the process of change is far from easy, and implementing it successfully demands considerable effort from the managers involved. While, instability is a norm nowadays for most organizations this is not necessarily accompanied by the easy infliction of the change procedure to each company's employees. Human factor when stressed poses resistance, which can hinder the change to the greater extent. As a result it is necessary to find and try to prove the effectiveness of certain managerial steps for successful management of change.
