      "@value" : "In November 1998 Heal-link signed the first license agreement for electronic access to Elsevier’s publications through ScienceDirect. Five years later, all members of HEAL-link (the Consortium of the Greek Academic Libraries) cancelled all their print subscriptions to 13 major publishers and moved to electronic.  The access to the information is now provided only online. \nFive years after the first agreement we can evaluate the benefits of the collaboration within Greek Academic and Research Libraries and plan a strategy for access to scientific information in the years to come."

      "@value" : "Το Νοέμβριο του 1998 η Kοινοπραξία των Ελληνικών Ακαδημαϊκών Βιβλιοθηκών υπογράφει την πρώτη συμφωνία για συλλογική ηλεκτρονική πρόσβαση στα περιοδικά που εκδίδονται από τον οίκο Elsevier.  Σήμερα, πέντε χρόνια μετά,  όλα τα μέλη της Kοινοπραξίας των Ελληνικών Ακαδημαϊκών Βιβλιοθηκών έχουν καταργήσει τις έντυπες συνδρομές τους σε 13 από τους μεγαλύτερους εκδότες επιστημονικών περιοδικών. Η πρόσβαση στην πληροφορία πλέον παρέχεται μόνο ηλεκτρονικά, αποτέλεσμα των συλλογικών συμβάσεων μεταξύ των εκδοτών και της Κοινοπραξίας. \nΣτόχος αυτής της  παρουσίασης είναι μια συνοπτική περιγραφή της πορείας του έργου μέχρι σήμερα. Πέντε χρόνια μετά την πρώτη συμφωνία βρισκόμαστε σε μία χρονική στιγμή,  η οποία μας επιτρέπει να αποτιμήσουμε τα οφέλη της συνεργασίας μεταξύ των Ελληνικών Ακαδημαϊκών και Ερευνητικών Ιδρυμάτων και να σχεδιάσουμε ασφαλέστερα τη δράση μας για τα επόμενα χρόνια."
