Purpose of this thesis is to investigate the use of e-banking in Greece. An analysis of two main parts, in theoretical background and in the research application. The first section presents the banking, legal and economic context of the development of online banking and the second focuses on the presentation and analysis of the current situation in the Greek area, and at the assess on its future development, using the survey data to the Bank of Attica. Αντικείμενο της εργασίας αυτής είναι η διερεύνηση της χρήσης του e-banking στην Ελλάδα. Aναλύεται σε δύο κύρια σκέλη, σε αυτό του θεωρητικού υπόβαθρου και σε εκείνου της ερευνητικής του εφαρμογής.Το πρώτο τμήμα παρουσιάζει το τραπεζικό, νομικό και οικονομικό πλαίσιο της ανάπτυξης των τραπεζικών συναλλαγών μέσω διαδικτύου ενώ το δεύτερο εστιάζει στην παρουσίαση και ανάλυση της τρέχουσας κατάστασης στον ελληνικό χώρο και στην εκτίμηση της μελλοντικής της εξέλιξης, μέσω των δεδομένων έρευνας στην Τράπεζα Αττικής.
