Η παρούσα εργασία εξετάζει τους όρους desidero και desiderium στα έργα του Κικέρωνα. Μετά από την εισαγωγή, κατά την οποία διευκρινίζεται κατά πόσο ο φιλόσοφος είναι επηρεασμένος από τους Στωικούς, ποιες ιδέες ενστερνίζεται, πώς τις προωθεί και πώς αντιμετωπίζει τις άλλες φιλοσοφικές θεωρίες, καθώς επίσης και πώς
χρησιμοποιούνται οι δύο όροι σε άλλους συγγραφείς και ποιητές, εισέρχεται το κύριο μέρος, κατά τη διάρκεια του οποίου γίνεται ο έλεγχος των αποσπασμάτων και η κατηγοριοποίησή τους. Συγκεκριμένα καταγράφονται οι όροι και η σημασιολογική
τους ερμηνεία με βάση τη μετάφρασή τους στα ελληνικά, η οποία παρατίθεται στις υποσημειώσεις. Στη συνέχεια, έπονται τα συμπεράσματα της έρευνας με την ποσοτική απαρίθμηση των σημασιών από την καθεμία ενότητα.
The following assignment examines the terms desidero and desiderium in the writing works of Cicero. After the introduction, in which is emphasised the level of extent the philosopher is influenced by Stoics, the ideas he embrases, how he illustrates and processes the philosophical theories, as well as how the two terms are used in other
writers and poets, the main expert is being introduced, during which the extracts are checked and categorised. To be exact, the terms and their sementic interpretation are recorded based on their translation into Greek, which is provided in the footnotes section. Furthermore, the following are the conclusions of the research with the
quantitative enumeration of the meanings of each unity.
