Χρυσάνθου, ΒλάσιοςDiamantis, IoannisΔιαμαντής, ΙωάννηςChrysanthou, VlasiosΠλιάκας, Φώτιος-ΚωνσταντίνοςPliakas, Fotios-KonstantinosMavriou, ZografinaΜαυριού, ΖωγραφίναΗ παρούσα Μεταπτυχιακή Διατριβή πραγματεύεται τη συλλογή, την επεξεργασία, την ανάλυση και την κατάλληλη παρουσίαση πληροφοριών, βιβλιογραφικών αναφορών, στοιχείων και δεδομένων που αφορούν στα υπόγεια υδατικά συστήματα της Νήσου Ρόδου συμβάλλοντας στην ανάπτυξη ενός αξιόπιστου εννοιολογικού μοντέλου αναφορικά με το υπόγειο υδρογεωλογικό καθεστώς της νήσου. Ιδιαίτερα σημαντική ήταν η καταγραφή των συμπερασμάτων της μεθόδου GALDIT στο βόρειο τμήμα της Ρόδου. Ειδικότερα, το πρώτο κεφάλαιο περιλαμβάνει την ανάλυση των εννοιολογικών μοντέλων υπόγειων νερών και την περιγραφή των βασικών στοιχείων που απαιτούνται για την ανάπτυξη τους. Στη συνέχεια, παρουσιάζεται η εκτίμηση της τρωτότητας υδροφορέα σε θαλάσσια διείσδυση με τη χρήση της μεθόδου GALDIT. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο περιέχονται τα γεωμορφολογικά, γεωλογικά και υδρολογικά στοιχεία της Νήσου Ρόδου. Στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο αναφέρονται οι υδρογεωλογικές συνθήκες της Νήσου Ρόδου και παρατίθενται τα αποτελέσματα και η ερμηνεία των αποτελεσμάτων από σχετικές μετρήσεις προηγούμενων ερευνών. Στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται καταγραφή των αποτελεσμάτων της εφαρμογής της μεθόδου GALDIT στο βόρειο τμήμα της Ρόδου χρησιμοποιώντας γεωγραφικά συστήματα πληροφοριών (GIS). Τέλος, στο πέμπτο κεφάλαιο παρουσιάζονται τα συμπεράσματα που προκύπτουν για τα υπόγεια υδατικά συστήματα της Νήσου Ρόδου, καθώς και προτάσεις για περαιτέρω έρευνα στην περιοχή.This Master Thesis deals with the collection, processing, analysis and the appropriate presentation of information, bibliographic material, elements and data, which are related to the hydrogeological regime of Rhodes Island. The relevant research contributes to the development of a reliable conceptual model with regard to the aquifer systems of the island. Especially, the formulation of appropriate conclusions regarding the coastal aquifer vulnerability in the north area of Rhodes is considered very important. In detail, Chapter 1 includes the analysis of conceptual groundwater models and the description of basic elements, which are required for their development. Ιn addition, the assessment of aquifer vulnerability to seawater intrusion using GALDIT method is described. Chapter 2 presents the geomorphological, geological and hydrological elements of Rhodes Island. In Chapter 3, the hydrogeological conditions of Rhodes Island are stated as well as the results and interpretation of results from related measurements of previous researches in the region. In Chapter 4, the results are presented by applying the GALDIT method in the north area of Rhodes using geographical information systems (GIS).
