The present dissertation talks about the problems that the new mother faces every day during childbirth and in general for the duration of breastfeeding her baby. First, the anatomy of the female breast, the process of production of breast milk and what it is composed of, which are basic knowledge of understanding the subject, are mentioned. Next, the question of the practical application of breastfeeding is raised, whether it is beneficial and in which cases it should be avoided. Later, all the possible problems that a breastfeeding mother may face and how they can be solved are analyzed. Finally, it presents contemporary social issues that are now routine and how they affect breastfeeding.
