    "description" : [ "Οι δασικές πυρκαγιές επηρεάζουν τα χερσαία οικοσυστήματα και η κλιματική αλλαγή αυξάνει τον κίνδυνο εκδήλωσής τους. Ο κίνδυνος δασικής πυρκαγιάς καθορίζεται από στατικούς παράγοντες, όπως η βλάστηση και το ανάγλυφο του εδάφους, και δυναμικούς παράγοντες, όπως οι καιρικές συνθήκες και η ανθρώπινη δραστηριότητα. Η αλληλεπίδραση αυτών των παραγόντων επηρεάζει την ευκολία ανάφλεξης, την εξάπλωση και την ένταση των πυρκαγιών, καθιστώντας κρίσιμη την κατανόηση και διαχείριση του φαινομένου. Στην παρούσα εργασία, γίνεται εκτίμηση του βαθμού επικινδυνότητας δασικών πυρκαγιών στον Δήμο Καβάλας. Οι παράμετροι που αξιολογήθηκαν είναι τα μορφολογικά και τοπογραφικά χαρακτηριστικά της περιοχής, όπως η γεωλογία, η χρήση γης, η κλίση του εδάφους, ο προσανατολισμός του εδάφους, οι οικισμοί, το οδικό δίκτυο, το υδρογραφικό δίκτυο και τα υψόμετρα του εδάφους. Στη συνέχεια, έγινε αξιολόγηση των επιμέρους παραμέτρων και επιλέχθηκε η βαρύτητα που λαμβάνει η κάθε παράμετρος. Με τη χρήση του Συστήματος Γεωγραφικών Πληροφοριών (GIS) έγινε η εξαγωγή του τελικού χάρτη επικινδυνότητας, όπου εμφανίζονται οι περιοχές κατηγοριοποιημένες σε πέντε κλάσεις με αποτέλεσμα να εντοπίζονται οι πιο επικίνδυνες περιοχές. Οι κλάσεις αυτές κυμαίνονται στο εύρος από πολύ χαμηλή έως πολύ υψηλή επικινδυνότητα. Τέτοιου είδους χάρτες αποτελούν πολύτιμο εργαλείο για την πρόληψη των πυρκαγιών, καθώς προσφέρουν κατευθύνσεις για την καλύτερη διαχείριση των περιοχών υψηλού κινδύνου. The forest fire risk is determined by static factors, such as vegetation and topography, and dynamic factors, such as weather conditions and human activity. The interaction of these factors affects the ease of ignition, spread and intensity of fires, making understanding and management of the phenomenon critical. In this study, an assessment of the forest fire risk level in the Μunicipality of Kavala is conducted. The parameters evaluated include the morphological and topographical characteristics of the area, such as geology, land use, slope, orientation, settlements, road network, hydrographic network and elevations. Subsequently, the individual parameters were evaluated, and the weighting each parameter was selected. Using the Geographic Information System (GIS), the final risk map was generated, showing areas categorized into five classes, allowing for the identification of the most hazardous areas. These classes range from very low to very high risk. These maps are a valuable tool for fire prevention, as they provide guidance for better management of high-risk areas.
