Ζησιμοπούλου, ΣοφίαΣτο παρόν κείμενο, επιχειρείται η εξέταση των αναπαραστάσεων του Πολυτεχνείου από τον κινηματογραφικό φακό, όπως αυτή πραγματοποιήθηκε σε ταινίες τεκμηρίωσης κατά την εκπνοή της Χούντας και στα πρώτα έτη της Μεταπολίτευσης. Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη την πληθώρα σχετικών τεκμηριωτικών αφηγημάτων στον Τύπο, τη λογοτεχνία και την τηλεόραση, αυτό το άρθρο διερευνά τη συμβολή των φιλμικών αφηγήσεων στην εδραίωση του Πολυτεχνείου, ως κυρίαρχο μνημονικό τόπο στη συλλογική μνήμη και στη δημόσια ιστορία. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, αξιοποιούνται ταινίες, όπου το Πολυτεχνείο αποτελεί κύρια (Η Δοκιμή & Εδώ Πολυτεχνείο) ή δευτερεύουσα θεματική (Μέγαρα, Αγώνας, Μαρτυρίες, Νέος Παρθενώνας, Παράσταση για έναν ρόλο, Η ηλικία της θάλασσας, Τα τραγούδια της φωτιάς, Η δίκη της Χούντας). Στις ταινίες αυτές εξετάζονται τόσο θεματικά και αφηγηματικά γνωρίσματα, όσο και τα περικειμενικά στοιχεία, που δίνουν πληροφορίες για την πολιτική αυτοσυνειδησία των εκάστοτε κινηματογραφιστών. Παράλληλα, και μέσω των ίδιων παρακειμενικών πληροφοριών, επιχειρείται η ανασύνθεση του πλαισίου παραγωγής και κυκλοφορίας της κάθε ταινίας σε ευρύτερα ακροατήρια. Όπως θα προσπαθήσω να αποδείξω, οι ταινίες αυτές συνιστούν προνομιακούς φορείς ιστορικής γνώσης, στον βαθμό που επιχειρούν μια σύνθετη ανάγνωση των ιστορικών γεγονότων, εστιάζοντας στα κίνητρα και τη στοχοθεσία του φοιτητικού κινήματος, αλλά και στη σχέση του με ευρύτερες κοινωνικο-πολιτικές ομάδες (εργατικό κίνημα, χουντικές αρχές κ.τ.λ.). Ταυτόχρονα, πολλές από τις ταινίες διερευνούν τα γεγονότα τόσο σε επίπεδο συγχρονίας όσο και σε επίπεδο διαχρονίας, με το Πολυτεχνείο να τοποθετείται πλάι σε μείζονα ιστορικά γεγονότα της προδικτατορικής, δικτατορικής και μεταδικτατορικής περιόδου, σε μια ευρύτερη γενεαλογία συλλογικών αγώνων και διεκδικήσεων.This paper aims to examine some of the major cinematic representations of the Polytechnic’s student uprising (1973), in non-fiction films since the end of Junta and till the first years of Metapolitefsi, specifically till 1981. Taking into account the plethora of relevant documentary narratives in the press, literature and television, this article explores the contribution of these filmic narratives to the consolidation of the Polytechnic’s student uprising as a dominant place of memory in collective memory and public history. My research will focus both on films that address the Polytechnic’s student uprsing as their dominant theme (I Dokimi/The Rehearsal, Edo Polytechneio) and on films in which the uprising assumes a secondary role (Martyries, Megara, Agonas, Neos Parthenonas, Ta tragoudia tis fotias, Parastasi gia enan rolo, I ilikia tis thalassas, I diki tis Chountas). In this context, I will attempt to examine the thematic and narrative characteristics of the films as well as their paratexts. Through the paratextual information, I will reconstruct their context of production and discuss their circulation in wide audiences. As I will try to showcase, these films function as privileged agents of historical knowledge, insofar as they attempt a complex reading of historical events, focusing on the motivations and goals of the student movement, but also on its relationship with broader socio-political groups (labor movement, junta authorities, etc.).
