Ξένος, ΧρήστοςΣτο πλαίσιο της διδακτορικής διατριβής που εκπονήσαμε, θα παρουσιάσουμε μία σύντομη εκδοχή του πλαισίου που κινείται η παραγωγή του ελληνικού κινηματογράφου την περίοδο 1942-1972. Είναι μία καθοριστική ιστορική περίοδος που η μαζική παραγωγή των ελληνικών ταινιών αυξάνεται αλματωδώς, ενώ οι θεατές εισέρχονται στα ταμεία κατά εκατομμύρια. Παράλληλα το ασφυκτικό θεσμικό πλαίσιο λογοκρισίας (και αυτολογοκρισίας, ως συνέπεια) περιορίζει την έκφραση. Η ανάλυσή μας προσεγγίζει συνολικά τον κινηματογράφο κάτω από το πρίσμα της κοινωνικο-οικονομικής θεωρίας των φορντισμού, μετα-φορντισμού, της κοινωνιολογικής οπτικής της παραγωγής της κουλτούρας (production of culture) του Peterson (1979, 1982) και της αλλαγής της προσέγγισης της κουλτούρας της παραγωγής (culture of production) που συστήνει ο Caldwell (2006,2008) και οι σπουδές στην παραγωγή (production studies), αλλά και ο κόσμος της τέχνης (Art Worlds) του Becker (1982/2008). Θα σταθούμε σύντομα κι ενδεικτικά σε πεδία όπως το θεσμικό πλαίσιο, οι εταιρικές δομές, η παραγωγική διαδικασία, κ.ά., που θα μας επιτρέψει μία συνολική οπτική γύρω από τον ελληνικό κινηματογράφο της ιστορικής περιόδου που εξετάζουμε, ευρέως γνωστή ως ο Παλιός Ελληνικός Κινηματογράφος (ΠΕΚ).In the context of our doctoral dissertation, we will present a brief version of the context of the production of Greek cinema in the period 1942-1972. It is a crucial historical period when the mass production of Greek films is growing rapidly, while the viewers reach mulmultiple millions at the box office. At the same time, the suffocating institutional framework of censorship (and self-censorship as a consequence) restricts expression. Our analysis approaches cinema as a whole in the light of the socio-economic theory of Fordism, post-Fordism, the sociological perspective of Peterson’s production of culture (1979, 1982) and the change in the approach of culture of production recommended by Caldwell (2006,2008) and production studies, but also Becker’s Art Worlds (1982/2008).
