Στην παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία εξετάζεται η αναπαράσταση της μονογονεϊκής
οικογένειας μέσα από τα παιδικά βιβλία. Σκοπός της έρευνας αυτής είναι η διερεύνηση και
ανάλυση παιδικών βιβλίων στα ελληνικά που πραγματεύονται ιστορίες με κεντρικούς
χαρακτήρες ένα παιδί και έναν γονιό. Μετά από επίσκεψη στη Ζωσιμαία
Βιβλιοθήκη Ιωαννίνων τον Απρίλιο του 2024, αναδύθηκαν 6 σχετικά παιδικά βιβλία. Από την
ανάλυση ανέκυψαν 7 θεματικές συνιστώσες με βάση: ζωόμορφους – ανθρωπόμορφους
χαρακτήρες στα παραμύθια, θάνατος, μητρική ή πατρική φιγούρα, χρονολογία και
εικονογράφηση, καινούργιοι φίλοι στην ιστορία, εικονογράφηση και κείμενο και τέλος
παιχνίδια. Η εργασία αυτή υποστηρίζει τη σημασία που δίνεται στην κάθε μορφή
μονογονεϊκής οικογένειας, καθώς και πως αυτές παρουσιάζονται μέσα από τα παραμύθια,
αλλά και τον τρόπο αντιμετώπισης του κάθε είδους προβλήματος που προκύπτει.

This thesis presents the single - parent family and its forms through children’s books. The
purpose of this research is to highlight the family environment of the single – parent family
and how it’s members, i.e. the parent and the child, experience it through books, as it is a
medium that tends to be diminished by children’s interest, since it is flooded daily by
technological means. This is a mixed survey, in which a large percentage of books presenting
single parenthood appear. As for qualitative research, it consists of children’s books for the
purpose of drawing conclusions about the function and complexity of this particular form of
family. Next, we find that in order for there to be a sense of security and stability within the
single – parent family, the parent needs to have a dual role now, talking on all the obligations,
as well as for the psychosocial security of the child. Finally, it becomes obvious how the child
perceives and treats it.
