I/A. cherche a preciser certains resultats des fouilles entrepsises a Nicee par le byzantiniste turc Semavi Eyice, notamment a identifier Feglise decrite par cet archeologue. A l’appui des donnees historiques et des renseignements du chronographe anonyme edite par C. Sathas (Μεσαιωνική Βιβλιοθήκη, t. VII), FA. emet Fhypothese que cette eglise, jusqu’a present inconnue, remonte au XHIe siecle. Elle etait dediee a Saint Tryphon, qui etait particulierement honore par Fempereur de Nicee, Theodore II Lascaris. (FR)
