      "@value" : "An inscription carved on a slab of schist, containing the purchase of a house,\nwas found in Torone of Chalkidiki in the year 1964. It is one of the most typical\nof that kind. It contains the invocation, the title, the date, the main text, the location\nof the house, the price, the guarantors and the witnesses.\nThe form of the letters, certain grammatical types and mainly the resemblance\nto the inscriptions from Olynthus related to the purchase of houses, place this\ninscription chronologically to the first decades of the fourth century.\nThis inscription has many similarities to the same inscriptions from Olynthus\nand other places from Chalkidiki while it has basic differences with inscriptions\nfrom other places especially from Amphipolis. The price of the house is given with\nsymbols some of which are found only at Chalkidiki, as for instance the symbol 8."
