The HELLENIC VETERINARY MEDICAL SOCIETY (HVMS) is a Scientific Society aiming to promote and safeguard Veterinary Science by improving and increasing animal production, protecting animal health, hygiene, technology and safety of food of animal origin, public health and environment. It also aims at promoting veterinary research, experimental medicine, animal protection, biomedicine and biotechnology, artificial insemination, embryo transplantation and scientific ethics.
