Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή αποτελεί μία βιβλιογραφική έρευνα που
πραγματεύεται τις wearables συσκευές και ειδικότερα τη χρησιμότητα τους στον τομέα
της υγείας.
Πραγματοποιείται μία αναδρομή όπου δίδεται ο ορισμός των συσκευών αυτών, το
σκεπτικό δημιουργίας τους καθώς και το πως λειτουργούν.
Παρουσιάζονται και επισημαίνονται τα χαρακτηριστικά εκείνα που καθιστούν την
τεχνολογία των wearables μοναδική και εξελίξιμη καθώς επίσης γίνεται αναφορά στα
προτερήματα και τα ελαττώματά τους.
Επίσης, παρουσιάζονται χαρακτηριστικά παραδείγματα εφαρμογής των wearables
στην τεχνολογική ανάπτυξη του τομέα της υγείας αλλά και της φυσικής κατάστασης
των χρηστών τους.
Καλύπτονται θέματα για το πως οι wearables συσκευές αναπτύχθηκαν και πως
προδιαγράφεται το μέλλον τους στην υγεία.
Τέλος, γίνεται μνεία σε θέματα ασφαλείας των συσκευών αυτών και αναφέρονται
θέματα mobile computing.

This postgraduate survey is a research that it is based on bibliography and has as an
issue the wearables and their utility at the healthcare.
Α flashback is accomplished were the definition of that devices is given, with thoughts
of their creation and how they are working.
Those features that make the technology wearables unique and evolving are presented
and labeled and also there is a reference to their advantages and defects.
Also examples are presented of applications of wearables in the technological
development of healthcare and fitness progress of their users.
Issues are covered of how wearables devices were developed and how their future in
healthcare is prescribed.
Finally, a reference is made to safety of these devices and there is refer issues of
mobile computing.
