The use of insulin Lispro in pregnancy has not been investigated sufficiently despite its increasing use. We present the case of a pregnant woman 25-year old, who was treated with insulin Lispro during pregnancy. There were no complications during pregnancy and she gave birth to a 3450 gr. baby by Caesarean section at 37th week. Control of the diabetes mellitus during pregnancy was very good, without hypoglycemias, while values of the glycated hemoglobin were within the normal range. Although it is difficult to make safe conclusions from a single case, the case presented contributes to the data collection regarding the safety of insulin Lispro during diabetic pregnancy.
