Στή μελέτη αυτή εκθέτονται μέ συντομία, τό ίστορικό, οί αρχές πάνω στις όποιες στηρίζεται ή λυοφιλίωση καί ή σημασία της στή βιολογία καί στή χημεία. Γιά αρκετές δεκαετίες ή τεχνική αυτή εφαρμόστηκε κυρίως στην αποξήρανση βιολογικών προϊόντων, μικροοργανισμών, αντιβιοτικών, φαρμακευτικών Ιδιοσκευασμάτων καί προϊόντων διατροφής. Παράλληλα μέ τις πιό πάνω εφαρμογές, ανοίγονται σήμερα καινούργιες προοπτικές γιά τή λιοφιλίωση πού οδηγούν στην επεξεργασία καί παρασκευή νέων χημικών προϊόντων (EL)
The history, the principles and the importance of freeze-drying in biology and chemistry are briefly reported. For several decades this technique. Has been mainly used for drying biological products, antibiotics, microorganisms, pharmaceuticals, complex tissues and food products. Beside these applications further prospectives are opened for the preparation of new chemical products. (EN)
