Περιγραφή

This research takes place in the city of Chania (GR) and its main target is to develop a Geodatabase model in order to evaluate the environmental quality of urban roads. The aim of this attempt was to define the Geodatabase rules and properties so that the Geodatabase can be user-friendly and meet the needs of the research. All the environmental indices that were registered to contribute in this modelling process were programmed in the ArcGIS system and all the data that were collected were input in the database. Important observations were made and conclusion were reached from the building process of this Geodatabase as the road network in a city is usually quite complicated. (EN)
