Το αντικείμενο της παρούσας διπλωματικής μου εργασίας αποτελούν οι ενδεχόμενες μετασχηματίσεις της ύλης και του πνεύματος και, από τα επιμέρους ζητήματα τα οποία πραγματεύεται το ουσιωδέστερο όλων είναι η διερεύνηση της ανθρώπινης υπόστασης. Μέσα από τα έργα του Γιώργου Χειμωνά (1936 - 2000) καλούμαστε να μελετήσουμε τον ίδιο τον άνθρωπο, πέρα από κάθε επίγεια περιοριστική νόρμα, εισδύοντας έτσι στα μύχια της ανθρώπινης ψυχοσύνθεσης. Υπό το πρίσμα, της λύτρωσης, της δικαίωσης, της καταδίκης, της πτώσης, αλλά και του αγώνα για επίτευξη της θέωσης, και ενίοτε της εκπλήρωσης μιας άνωθεν πνευματικής εντολής μπορούμε να παρακολουθήσουμε τη διαπάλη της ανθρώπινης συλλογικής μνήμης, όπως επίσης και την εδραίωση ενός οικουμενικού πεπρωμένου, καθώς και τις μεταπτώσεις των ανθρώπινων παθών.

The main object of my present literary research is the potential transfiguration of material substance and of the humane spirit. Of all the individual issues that are including in my present thesis the most essential of all is the investigation of the human existence. Among the literary works of George Heimonas (1936 - 2000) we are invited to study the man himself beyond every terrestrial and restrictive norm, thus penetrating at the core of the human psyche. Under the prism of redemption, of justice, of condemnation, of the fall, but also of the struggle to achieve deification and sometimes the fulfillment of a spiritual command from above we can watch the struggle of the human collective memory, as well as the consolidution of a universal destiny, as well as the transitions of human suffering.
