Η αλληλεπίδραση φύλου και μαθηματικών επηρεάζει τον τρόπο με τον οποίο κορίτσια και αγόρια συγκροτούν την υποκειμενικότητά τους και αποτελεί ένα θέμα με ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον στη μαθηματική εκπαίδευση. Έτσι η παρούσα εργασία εστιάζει σε μια μελέτη περίπτωσης, της Φωτεινής, καθηγήτριας μαθηματικών στο δευτεροβάθμιο σχολείο, η οποία μέσα από την αφήγησή της εκφράζει τα συναισθήματα και τις εμπειρίες της ως μαθήτρια και ως εργαζόμενη. Γίνεται προσπάθεια να κατανοηθεί πώς ο έμφυλος λόγος που αφορά στη σχέση γυναικών με τα Μαθηματικά επιδρά στο πώς η ίδια κατανοεί την ταυτότητά της, καθορίζει τη διαδικασία λήψης αποφάσεων και δράσης της και την εγκλωβίζει στα δίπολα αρσενικό/ θηλυκό και ικανή/μη ικανή στα Μαθηματικά. The interaction of gender and mathematics influences the way girls and boys construct their subjectivity and is a topic of particular interest in mathematics education. Thus, the present work focuses on a case study in which Fotini, a mathematics teacher in secondary education, expresses, through her narration, her feelings and experiences as a student and as a teacher. An attempt is made to understand how the gendered discourse which refers to the relation of women and mathematics influences the way she forms her identity, defines her decision-making and action process, and traps her in the bipolar male / female and proficient / not proficient in Mathematics.
