Nel periodo del secondo dominio veneziano in Peloponneso lo stato avevaimposto una serie di angarie reali e personali alle popolazioni agrigole del paese,mentze aveva dispensato da esse i membri delle comunità cittadine che erano statecreate in quel tempo nelle maggiori città del Peloponneso. Questo ha havuto comerisultato che un numero sempre maggiore di contadini tentava ad iscriversi neiconsigli delle comunità e viceversa aumentava l'aggravamento dei rimanenticontadini in debito. (EN)
