The aim of the thesis is to study the effect of different diluents (Prohexadione-Ca, wetting substance SHINULIN, net and twine, thinning by hand, shading net and control) in two varieties of olives. Originally presented by olive cultivation method and cultivation of care. Then the territorial and climatic requirements needed by the plant to grow, pests and diseases which affect it and the ways to address them. Finally, given the conclusions which emerged from research farm ATEI- Thessaloniki from 23.05.2014 to October 2014 (10.07.2014) in order to study the effect of diluents on fruit set, growth and quality olives . For the experiment needs were randomly selected five olive trees of which eighteen branches so as to make six different treatments (3 sectors / treatment).
