The Copernicus Training and Information Session to be held on 7 October 2016 in Athens at the premises of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (N.H.R.F) is the first of a series of national Copernicus events which the European Commission will be organising at the request of, and in collaboration with Member States. It aims to promote awareness of the many uses of Copernicus data and information, while providing the opportunity of hands on demonstrations and basic training regarding: The data and information available, Its potential uses and applications, both generally and amongst specific categories of users or business sectors The tools available to access the data and information, The financing opportunities aimed at fostering market development and user uptake. The potential uses of Copernicus data and information for start-ups and developers It targets both national Copernicus “intermediate” and end user communities.
