The aim of this dissertation is the identification of affordable price in transportation and it's importance to society. Moreover it describes the variety of factors that affect affordable price and the most important strategies that can be put into practice so as to achieve it. Ending, it determines the concept of transportation affordability and it presents the construction of Affordability Index. An Index which is used for the affordability of transportation cost.
