Το κείμενο παρουσιάζει το έργο που ανέπτυξε ο αρχιτέκτονας Hannes Meyer κατά την περίοδο 1919-1927 σε συνεργασία με την Ελβετική Συνεταιριστική Ένωση. Αυτή η ερευνητική και χωρική παραγωγή του Meyer επιχείρησε να απαντήσει στην αποξένωση της μοντέρνας μητροπολιτικής εμπειρίας μέσω της συνειδητής, ιδεολογικής ενσωμάτωσης της κυρίαρχης μητροπολιτικής αφαίρεσης. The chapter presents Hannes Meyer’s work that he developed in collaboration with the Swiss Cooperative Union during the years 1919-1927. Meyer’s research and spatial experimentation attempted to respond to the estranging, modern metropolitan experience through the conscious ideological incorporation of the very same dominant metropolitan abstraction.
