Having as a starting point Heidegger’s critique of the modern interpretations of the meaning of articulation [λέγειν], which in all their versions refrain articulation in the framework of representations, concepts or propositions and giving rise to an unbridgeable separation of articulation and the things, this thesis attempts to investigate one primary meaning of articulation, which is introduced by Heidegger and in a way reinstates the unity between articulation and the things. According to the interpretation which is stated in the current thesis, this unity between articulation and the things, is produced from a meaning of articulation that is developed by Heidegger in conjunction with the meaning of making [ποιείν]. “Making” in this context is substantially related with the way that human existence is “being in the world”. The meaning of making can be traced in Being and Time (1927), in the meaning of “interpretation”, as well as in his lecture Building, Dwelling, Thinking (1951), derived from the meaning of “building”. With this background, as the main working hypothesis of the thesis in question, it is argued that Heidegger substantially relates articulation with making and elevates making to a basic function of human existence.

Έχοντας ως αφετηρία την κριτική του Χάιντεγγερ στις νεωτερικές ερμηνείες της έννοιας του λόγου, που σε όλες τις ποικίλες εκδοχές τους περιορίζουν το λόγο στο πεδίο των παραστάσεων, εννοιών ή προτάσεων και δημιουργούν έτσι ένα αγεφύρωτο χωρισμό του λόγου από τα πράγματα, στα οποία αυτός αναφέρεται, η εργασία επιχειρεί να ανιχνεύσει μια πρωταρχική έννοια του λόγου, την οποία εισηγείται ο Χάιντεγγερ και η οποία αποκαθιστά κατά κάποιον τρόπο την ενότητα ανάμεσα στο λόγο και τα πράγματα. Σύμφωνα με την ερμηνεία που υποστηρίζεται στην εργασία, η ενότητα αυτή μεταξύ του λόγου και των πραγμάτων, διαμεσολαβείται μέσω μιας έννοιας του λέγειν, που αναπτύσσεται από τον Χάιντεγγερ σε συνάφεια με μια έννοια του ποιείν. Το “ποιείν” εδώ συνδέεται ουσιωδώς με τον τρόπο με τον οποίο η ανθρώπινη ύπαρξη νοείται ως μέσα στον κόσμο. Αυτή την έννοια του ποιείν θα την εντοπίσουμε τόσο στο Είναι και Χρόνος (1927), στην έννοια της “ερμηνείας”, όσο και στη διάλεξη Κτίζειν, κατοικείν, σκέπτεσθαι (1951), μέσα από την έννοια του “κτίζειν”. Με αυτό το σκεπτικό, ως υπόθεση εργασίας, υποστηρίζεται ότι ο Χάιντεγγερ συναρτά ουσιωδώς το λέγειν με το ποιείν και ανάγει το ποιείν σε βασική λειτουργία της ανθρώπινης ύπαρξης.
