Οι νέες τεχνολογίες εντάσσονται ολοένα και περισσότερο στην καθημερινότητα του σύγχρονου ανθρώπου. Μάλιστα, σημαντικά γεγονότα όπως η οικονομική κρίση και η πανδημία του COVID-19, επίσπευσαν τον εκσυγχρονισμό των Ελληνικών επιχειρήσεων αναφορικά με τα πληροφοριακά συστήματα μηχανογράφησής τους. Επίσης, ακολουθώντας τις αλλαγές της ψηφιακής εποχής, το Ελληνικό Κράτος δημιούργησε και έθεσε πλέον σε εφαρμογή διάφορες ψηφιακές πλατφόρμες μέσω των οποίων πραγματοποιούνται διαδικτυακά οι συνδιαλλαγές με τις υπηρεσίες, όπως είναι το GOV.GR, το e-EFKA και η ψηφιακή πλατφόρμα MyData με την οποία ασχολείται κυρίως η συγκεκριμένη μελέτη.
Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία έχει διττό στόχο. Αφενός να επαληθεύσει την αυξανόμενη ανάγκη για ψηφιακές υπηρεσίες στην Ελλάδα, και αφετέρου να διερευνήσει εάν και κατά πόσο η μετάβαση στην ψηφιακή εποχή μέσω της εφαρμογής της ηλεκτρονικής τιμολόγησης στην ψηφιακή πλατφόρμα MyData, αποτέλεσε ένα ακόμη βήμα σπουδαίας προόδου ή μια απότομη μεταβολή για τα λογιστικά γραφεία, με επακόλουθες επιπτώσεις (θετικές ή αρνητικές) στο επάγγελμα του λογιστή στην Ελλάδα. Τα στοιχεία αυτά αποτυπώνονται και αναλύονται εκτενώς μέσα από την άποψη των ίδιων λογιστών, προκειμένου να εξαχθεί ένα γενικότερο συμπέρασμα για το εάν και κατά πόσο οι εν λόγω επαγγελματίες ήταν πραγματικά έτοιμοι για αυτήν την σημαντική μετάβαση.
New technologies are increasingly integrated into the everyday life of modern man. Important events that have occurred in recent years, such as the economic crisis, the COVID 19 pandemic, have been considered as milestones that accelerated the modernization of Greek businesses with regard to their IT systems. Also, following the changes of the digital age, the Greek State has created and implemented various digital platforms to help services transactions be carried out online, such as GOV.GR, e-EFKA and the MyData digital platform, which is the main focus of this study.
The aim of the current thesis is twofold. On the one hand, it attempts to verify the growing need for digital services in Greece and, on the other hand, to investigate whether and to what extent the transition to the digital era through the implementation of e-invoicing on the MyData digital platform was another great step forward or an abrupt change for accounting firms, with a vast impact (positive or negative) on the accounting profession in Greece. All aforementioned are captured and analyzed extensively through the viewpoint of the accountants themselves, in order to draw a general conclusion on whether and to what extent these professionals had been truly ready for the referred important transition.
